The Central Brain Tumor Registry of the United States (CBTRUS) is now accepting applications for its Summer Internship Program!
CBTRUS is a not‑for‑profit organization committed to gathering and disseminating high‑quality epidemiologic data on all primary brain and other central nervous system (CNS) tumors—benign and malignant—to better understand incidence, survival, diagnosis, treatment, etiology, awareness, and ultimately prevention.
This position is unpaid and intended to support students in need of research for completing school requirements such as a practicum.
Summer 2026 | 8–12 weeks
Remote / Hybrid options available
Open to undergraduate & graduate students

This internship is ideal for students interested in:
- Epidemiology & public health
- Biostatistics & data science
- Cancer surveillance & registry science
- Neuro‑oncology & population health research
Interns will gain hands‑on experience supporting population‑based brain tumor research, data analysis, reporting, and scientific communication—while working closely with CBTRUS staff and scientific leadership.
