2015-2016 Webinar Series


Subscriptions are now being accepted for the 2015-2016 Cancer Registry & Surveillance Webinar Series!!! When you purchase a NAACCR webinar you receive access to either 12, 9 or 6 live webinars carefully designed to meet your training needs.

  • Emphasis on the relationships between site, histology, stage (AJCC and Summary Stage), treatment, and outcomes.

NAACCR will present a different webinar every month beginning in October of 2015 and continuing through September of 2016. Each webinar is three hours (3 CE's) and will be presented on the first Thursday of each month.

*The +1, +3. or +5  remote staff member options must be purchased with a 12, 9, or 6 webinar series or with a single webinar. The +1 option allows a single participant to connect directly to the live session.  The +3 option allows participants from 1-3 remote locations to connect directly to the live session. The +5 option allows participants from 1-5 locations to connect directly to the live session. Each option is good for the entire webinar series.

When you purchase a webinar series you get the flexibility to pick and choose which webinars you would like to view. You can also share webinars. See the examples below.

Example 1:
Facility A purchased the 9 webinar package.They may select any 9 of the 12 webinars from the 2015-2016 series.

Example 2:
Facility A, B and C decide to combine their resources and purchase the 12 webinar package.Each of the three facilities can choose any four of the webinars to view from the comfort of their own facility (or anywhere else). All three facilities can choose the same webinars or different webinars.

The +1, +3, and +5 remote webinar options must be purchased with a 12, 9, or 6 webinar series or with a single webinar. The remote webinar options are good for the entire series.  For example: A subscriber purchases a 12 webinar series and a +3 remote webinar option. The +3 remote webinar option allows individuals from three remote locations to connect to all 12 live webinars.

How It Works

Once you purchase either a 12, 9 or 6 webinar package you will be sent an e-mail with a coupon code and detailed instructions on how to register for each webinar.

We also encourage anyone that has not previously participated in a NAACCR webinar to schedule a test session. During this session we will trouble shoot any technical issues and take a quick tour of WebEx.

The audio for all webinar sessions will be broadcast via VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). We will not be using telephones lines.

Each webinar will be 3 hours in length and presented twice in the same day, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) and from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. ET.

There is no limit to the number of people that you can attend each session. However, each connection to the session counts as one webinar in your package. If you purchase a 6 webinar package and have two employees view a webinar from different computers, this will count as two of your six webinars.

We will apply to NCRA for CE hour approval for the entire series and anticipate receiving approval of 36 CE hours for the series, 3 CE hours per webinar.
