This year’s
conference, "Building Bridges for Cancer Surveillance: 25 Years of Progress"
will explore how NAACCR has grown from a small group of interested
participants to a major player in international cancer surveillance activities.
Sessions will address the past, present, and future of cancer surveillance in
North America and beyond.
This year NAACCR is planning several special celebrations to mark our 25th Anniversary. NAACCR was established in Chicago in the spring of 1987. How many of you were there? As part of our celebration we would like to collect a list of members who attended that first meeting at the American College of Surgeons. Please contact us at memories@naaccr.org with your name and a few notes or stories about your memories and impressions of that first meeting. Suggestions for celebrating our Silver Anniversary are most welcome from all members at the same email address.

Hilton Portland Early Checkout Fee Policy: In the event a guest
who has requested a room within the NAACCR Room Block checks out prior to the
guest's reserved checkout date, the Hotel will add an early checkout fee of
$75.00 to that guest's individual account. Guests wishing to avoid
an early checkout fee should advise the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower
at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay to avoid this
fee. The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower will inform
attendees of this upon check-in.
