This is a professional planning and research position and the work entails ensuring that the data collected by the Maine Cancer Registry meets national standards for completeness, timeliness and quality and can be used for purposes of state and national cancer control. A combination of eight years of education, training, and/or experience is required. This position requires the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) accreditation as well as experience as a hospital or central cancer registrar. Work is performed under limited supervision. This position is not a remote position
